this is the first part i will order for $260 of ebay and the lrp .32 for under $200 tqi 2 ch trans/rec. $40 summit bodt w/exo cage $50 ebay.:buggy1: what else can you all sugg.?

Well the Summit has the remote locking diffs and the TX operated 2-speed tranny, are you going to go that far into it? Or maybe just the wheels/tires? What about BB mount, header, and pipe?
 
i can get the tranny,diffs.,linkages for bout $75 off ebay.motor mount i'm gonna use new era bb mount,header and pipe ercm.just don't really see any reason to put all the tranny stuff in it.think i'm gonna go with just the summit body,i have some imex k-rock tires/wheels.and the summit bumpers w/light kit.
 
I would go for a better Tx than the standard TQi set up, I think the menu & set up system is a real pita. I'm looking into the Spektrum DX3s, it costs a little more but comes with some telemetry gear, a spare sports receiver as well as the normal one for it & it has the digital read out that will make set up & menu much easier to use. For around $260, I reckon its the better option.
 
can't find new era engine mount anywhere.read that the traxxas bb kit you have to do some mods. to get it to work and it's not that adj. for gearing.so what would be the biggest,best engine just to drop in place of the 3.3:dancingpoop:
 
I bought as a lot of stuff off that seller. Shipping is pretty fast.
 
The O.S 21tm drops straight in on the standard engine mount, not sure what others do though. I think OFNA might have a BB mount for the revo, think it was on ebay I seen it.
 
So you're not converting a Summit to nitro,you are making a Revo into a nitro Summit?

I will be making and selling a mount like the New Era part in the near future. I have one that is being loaned to me so I can get the dimensions from it but with my schedule and this being the holiday season,it will probably be after the first of the year(mid-late January) before I can have them available.
 
i guess so my wife throwed a fit when i said i was going to hack up "her summit".so i figured i would just buy a new revo roller and start there.all steel drivtrain,rr metal tranny gears,and proline trenchers 40 series.with summit body,bumpers,light kit off ebay.

and yes when you get the bb engine mount ready let me know i want 2.
 
EXTREME1 what steel drive train you going with? From Google searches people seem to recomend summit drive train...
 
going to use the tvr ball-x cv's $75 for 2.so $150 for all 4.and i will use the traxxas steel center drive shafts.

Ya i do a ton of buissness with lumidave, great seller and usually 2-3 day shipping. Also buy alot from hopmeup as u save a ton on there combine shipping!!Keep us posted on the build
