What's up!! :fro:

Well I've been thinking and dang I miss running r/c's. So this week I am going to try to pry off this engine, (The screws are so tight on there and are stripped, I think my friend used red loctite.) Make sure it has no glow plug elements inside and Hopefully get it running. What happened is, I put it on the starter box, Then I Have a glow plug ignitor that plugs into my starter box power panel. So I connected the ignitor to the glow plug, Well then i hear a pop and my glow plug is totally shot. Brand new O'Donnell 1/8 plugs. This happened a couple of times. I didnt know what was wrong, So after I wasted 2 of my good plugs, and one McCoy MC59. I started to wonder why it was doing this, It definately is a voltage related cause. But I've started my car like this before. So i then tried my rechargeable ignitor, Then my engine now doesn't turn over... This was back in early march that I tried this. So I gave up on my r/c's for a long time, Now I am determined to find out what is the problem with this thing.

I Can't wait to get it running, Its been since the last bash (September 27-28, 04) That i've ran one... haha. To long!

Wish me luck, As I go and try to get this bad boy running.

Glad to see you again... sounds like my never before broken in v-spec1

Thanks guys, Yeah I'd be back in the hobby sooner or later. I guess that few month break helped. Now if only this thing would run!

Later

its not a hobby... we all know that... its a sickness... we all need our fix. and can not go very long without.

sweet it definatly makes the hobby just that much better becuase your doing it again... :D

i too havent been on the forums for a while becuase my computer had a siezure..and isn't acting right right now (I'm on the schools computer) but I've been trying my hardest to get some more controlled high speed turning so that my lil ole gt can take on some faster trucks...haha NOT

well anyways good to see you back if debbies would ever start thier offroad track id say lets have another hampton bash but it doesn't look like it'll be up before i move so maybe we should make another one for the bmx track sometime soon.

Good to see you on dude, I Need to find a dremel to grind my engine screws off. 2 Of the screws are actually circles now instead of +' Ouch... :( hah.

If you want to get together for a bash, We can do that, Like a mini one with a few people, Since the Hampton Roads bash is off.

Catch ya later.

dude take ur dremal and cut slots in it for a flat head screw dirver

flat head screws raley ever stripp

That's what i was planning on doing. See, Today I was determined to try and take off the top screws, Well it just so happens one of those are stripped also.

Hey Bro,when you are done doing the dremelling, heat up the screw so it will help to take it out better. Stripped screws suck so do this to get that lil bastard out!!!
