the "PINK" rs4-3 rebuild...for her

so this is the "PINK" project for the wifey as she seems to like driving more then taking action shots and vids.lol.. i got this hpi rs4-3 from a forum member and it was less then a roller and missing ALOT of parts, though in fairly new condition with a brand new motor that was never started(missing parts too) it took about $70 in parts plus body, tires, rims, and countless screws. all the parts were replaced with factory stuff so there is no hop-ups yet besides the pipe. it still has the single speed tranny wich will be the first to go. the pink plastic was painted with auto paint and clear coated as well as the remote, so it will stand up pretty good. and YES!! that is a cashmere(?) stearing wheel cover!! though it was put back to the factory condition, it was a fun build.. i broke in the motor yesterday, and on sunday she will test running it to see what upgrades she want.. pretty fun stuff. oh ya. and she will be ordering a new body soon as this one didnt come out as expected..

The body looks pretty cool, even though it's so pink it hurts my eyes. I like the shiny look that auto paint gives all the plastic, might have to try that some time.

You did a great job on that, but the pic on the hood kinda reminds me of a EVIL Hello Kitty, and I think its the clear coat that makes the stuff shinny not the auto paint..

The steering wheel on the radio has cashmere on it, that's why it looks that way, and I know why she doesn't like the body, it's a honda, and everyone has a honda, and it probably has a fart can on it haha j/k. The body looks good, and eventhough I'm not normally a fan of this color, everything looks pretty sharp on it. Nice build, now just make sure you don't make her car faster than yours, and all your friends won't laugh when you get beat by a pink car haha.
