i dunno my new revo is kinda a bummer right now. my first revo was the 3.3 with 2 steering servos and reverse and it came with the trx charger and it was a dang good runner it got on it pretty hard and this new revo seems less powerfull wich i dont get because it lighter and has a better tuned pipe.

right now my basher losi aftershock outruns my revo 3.3

Break the engine in first, THEN tune it. A little at a time.

Don't expect to just mash the throttle straight out the box. Also, consider what gearing you had in your old revo...... is the new revo the same ?

Dude..don't feel bad. My E-Revo brushless jumps like a cinder block and I can't figure out why...Oh well, time to stick the reactor in a truggy.

Yeah. If you tune it and break it in, there's no reason why you shouldn't be doing laps around that Aftershock.

My revo freaking flies, it pulls wheelies at will, it has to be your tuning. This is my first Nitro truck and at first the truck was garbage because i had no idea how to tune it. Now that i did a lot of research on how to tune it and actually set on my butt in the yard and played with it, it is scary fast. It scared me when it actually came out of its shell, it was fairly quick too, one minute it was was bogging down and running ragged and the next minute it did a back flip when i pinned it from idle. I'm not exaggerating it was the first time it actually ended up in its lid too, i was mad and happy at once. But it has gobs of power now and i love it. If i could just learn how to drive it, i broke the bottom right A arm the first day, i super glued it back together and been driving it for about a week until i lost control of a wheelie and it ended up cart wheeling through the yard and broke again.
