all i want is a reliable truck to play with... everytime i want to run it i break something and usually i replace it with an aftermarket peice...well 1000$ later in parts i still dont have a reliable peice of machinery (sp)... i dont think i drive incredibly bad i screw up every now and then but I'm okay.

anyways right now i have an epic 18 in it with an all steel transmission so when that engine wears out I'm gonna go BB. i was looking at the dynamite conv kit (250$ i think) and it comes with a new chassis plate and alum. chassis braces. with the chassis braces i will have upgraded about everything minues shocktowers, skidplates, and rearbulks, and the clutch.

so whats good in the BB engines i really dont keep up with them?

its discontinued on towerhobbies and it didnt give me a price

no problem man.good luck with your transformation..and look at the hyp 8 port its a lot of mill for your buck...

bashmaster, I hear ya loud and clear, LOL, please see my post at:

If you own a T-Maxx, you must be prepared to keep throwing money at it. It's a fragile design and it's simply not made to handle the big engines we install to produce power levels we all love. That's the perfect recipe for continual breakage.

With all the new bb's comin out, the hyper 8 port might be a little underpowered. Right now the best engines are the 24.7 from xtm, all the .26's(wasp & picco), the sirio .27, and the soon to be .28's made by a couple of different companies.

sweet have you ever ran the hyp 8 port?? or any of the mills you listed??
as far as the picco .26 there crap IMO.they don't hold a tune worth a crap..
IMO the sirio .27 is way to much for a mt. there hard enough to control in a buggy that has a low center of gravity..the hyp 8 port has plenty of power.and holds a tune..and is only 120$
