Hello again, it`s been a while and I am trying to get my good old Savage 25 to run again.

I think I have it mostly ready to run now but I ran into a problem after installing a Hitech 645MG servo on it. The stock servo saver will not hold onto the servo when turning the wheels on the ground, it just pops loose. So I figured I would do the saver upgrade, but my LHS does not have the Ofna parts from the sticky - but they have the HPI one (number: 87197) http://www.hpieurope.com/piw.php?lang=en&partNo=87197

But looking at the link it makes me think I need two of them (see bottom right picture: package contents) to make it work, or is one of the posts supplied supposed to be plastic? The LHS guy didnt know.

Also is that saver any good at all? :ponder2:

Thanks.

I upgraded my savage 25 to that cam type servo saver and it is much better. You get that whole package.. I would definitely upgrade to that.

I did the MP mod, but that was not available at the time. That works with the exact same principal of the ofna mod. It will be a huge improvement over a standard servo saver.
