YEZZZ! It finally arrived! I had it on monday, sorry bout not posting pics but I was already busy unpacking and building. I must say the manual is great, the building is easy and I think the diffs were the hardest part of the car.

The diffs, probably the hardest thing on the entire car... well explained in the manual tho!

More info follows!

Ok pics follow, frnot and rear sections are complete now... I hope it'll be done by the weekend. The girlfriend already hates me for it she thought I would be busy for three weeks :D

Lookin good Izigoth, grats on the truck and have a blast building it!

yeah that is what I wanted but I got an mt 1 those damn ebay frauds have fun with it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if the 18ss engine is a direct drop in replacement. I still have the 15fe in mine. Its sort of the red headed stepchild of my little RC family. When I just wanna burn some nitro I can always depend on my little RS4MT and that 15fe to fire right up. Over 2 gallons through it since I've had it and who knows how much before.

Lol yeah looks amazingly the same.
Chassis is a bit smaller but apart from that lots of stuff seems to be identical. How's your car doing?

I'm painting the body tonight perhaps, the other stuff is all mounted :) :)

Sorry more puics will come altho I forgot to take pics while buidling like a nutter :)

I have one question tho... the rear shocks seem less bouncy then the front shocks. Hard to explain, but the front beautifully 'stands' while the rear tends to sink a bit into the shocks... I don't get it tho shocks were well bleeded and filled completely?

Any ideas?

Yes - it is (at least for the MT2) When I put the 18ss in mine, I used all the parts from the T-15 that came in my MT2 (clutch, bell, etc)

The cat pic was funny. Mine also gets involved with my builds.

My RS4 18ss is fine. I painted numerous bodies for it. You can see that HERE. The 18ss motor is very strong and it holds a tune well. You should really like it. I am racing my RS4 on foams on a track with Team RCNT. The biggest problem with the car is the nut behind the steering wheel. :)

With respect to the shocks, I suspect maybe different preload on the springs , different mounting points for the shock or camber links, or air in the shock body.
