Whats the best replacement engine for a stock 21bb if possible can the rotostart fit on it

does anybody know what a good engine is i think the picco's good

Can I suggest you do a search on a couple of things?

Try searching for keywords: rotostart, picco, outlaw, hyper

I think you will find that this question has been asked and answered several times in various shapes and forms. It is for that reason, that I believe you are not getting as much play as you might like.

No problem...

For the record, I like the Hyper 21 8-port. Great engine, plenty of power. Eats glo-plugs on hot, hot days (went through two or three on this weekends two day bash). But overall, great engine.

Which one do u like better the hyper 21 8 port or the picco

Since I do not have personal experience with the Picco, I can only comment on the Hyper and give you what I have heard on the Picco.

From where I'm standing and from what I have heard, the Hyper is the better engine out of the box. While the Picco is a bigger displacement engine, according to my LHS gurus, the engine is basically a straight bore .26. Nothing of significance in the way of exotic porting to give it better performance. They have ported a few .26 and say that they are pretty much the way to go (with a quality port job). They said the .26 was a bit hard to tune. Their recommendation is to get the Hyper 21 8 port for the right out of the box performance, and I happen to agree.

Without any modifications to my engine, the Hyper performs...and I mean it performs well.

If it can be modified to fit the Picco, I'm sure it can be modified to fit the Hyper. Do you already have the rotostart? If not, why not just do the pull start?

It should be able to fit the Hyper because hpi claims that it can be a direct fit to the Force .21-.25 series.
