Yea I Made The best Body In The world :jk: Omg it was so ugly. okay well i needed a new body for 2 reasons: I needed one so that candyman could paint it (I had the pre painted s-25 one), and my dogs chewed it up. so i decided to paint it myself since i needed a new one n e ways and didnt care if it got jacked up. cuz it already was so i atempted to make flames with an exacto hobby knife. we pretty good. then i grabed some spray paint....BIG MISTAKE!!! Okay well it was looking pretty nice it was white faded to silver and went to black and all over was white sparkles. i guess i put too much on or something so i tryed to rince it out with water. then i painted over it b 4 it dried. now it looked really cool! It had like bumps in it and stuff. it may not sound that cool but i looked cool. i wish i had a camera. sooo i let it dry some. it starts cracking and braking out. now it looked really ***. i tryed to fix it put too much paint on it. then it had soo many coats on it wasn't funny. my hands were coverd in paint. Well I Guess I'm Not A Very good body painter You Know Why Cuz i had more paint on my hands then on the car LOL. JM But Pretty close. It Took For Ever To Get It off My Hands. Okay I Show Josh and my sis and mom, at that point it looked like someone puked on it. so i just threw it away there was way too much paint on it i guess. it wasn't fixable at that point. i guess i didnt wait long enough between coats i kinda just sprayed it all on...WELL ILL LEAVE THE PAINTING TO THE PROS. It Went From Looking Tight To Junk. hum what Ever I Needed A New Body N E ways. LOL

Isnt That Lovely,

I Just Though I Should Share That With You Guys....

Well, you know what they say.... "if you can duplicate an error, it becomes a technique".

The best way to practice before you paint next time is to use an empty 2 liter soda bottle. Cut in half, lengthwise, and practice masking and spray techniques with that. This way you do not waste a body on a crummy paint job and also you practice new ways of masking or spray effects. Also, make sure you use polycarbonate sprays such as made by Tamiya. Another other sprays will not work with Lexan.
