my heatsink screws are stripped in the motor k46. I'm gonna call them tomorrow and see what they are going to do since i have no fuel or money for fuel. she runs fine, but i need to be able to clean the gunk out around the glo-plug as build up causes more heat, as well rebuild her when the tim comes. I'm scared to loosen the plug much for the fact grit is going to get in the motor. i live in pure desert and the dirt here is like silty sand.

the k46 does take a 2.5mm allen key right? if so factory installation stripped the heads by over torqueing them with whatever machine/drill they use.

let me know if I'm wrong about mm and tool size.

i dont want to be the dumbass and come to find out it's a star key. i shined a light in there and it looks like all four are rounded out.

what hex tools do you use? I have the ofna and Losi ones that keep out of trouble. Those "Dubro" ones I got first suck IMO.

i have some t-hex allens, and some harden steel ones. we'll it looks as if it is stripped. i wonder how they would fix this, or get the bolts out. hopefully they will send me a brand new motor, but then fuel will cost as i'll have to break it in with 7 tanks before i go balistic with my bashing
