thank you guys for answering all of my questions, i think i got my savage tuned to perfection and she runs like a champ:breakdown i do not know what i could do without you guys. i do have one question though, do they make carry cases for the savage. i am heading to my grandmas house next week and i want to put my savage in some bag, what do u guys use?:ahem:

i have another question i bought the reverse thing for the savage, is it hard to install if i am a newbie :n00bie: and how many things do i need to take apart to do it, the instructions does not make any sense

for the reverse you have dissassemble the whole tranny and one side of the truck

EEEWWWWW!!! That just sounds nasty! I've heard it sounds harder than it really is to do, did you get a new servo for the reverse module? I think most people end up paying the little bit of extra cash for a heavy duty steering servo for the trucks steering and use the stock one for the reverse.

I wouldn't waste the time or the money to get the reverse module. If you have already wasted the money, then it shouldn't be too hard to install.

I say waste, because that is my opinion. It robs the truck of power, is rarely used, and just adds more weight to a heavy truck. Besides, the Savage can drive over most things that would require reverse to back away from.
