Ok so the question is if I already have rpm shock tower how am I suppose to mount the wing mount on it pics would be great or any other comments please help thanks guys

Not everyone has a wing mounted onto a Tmaxx. Give the right guys some time and they will post suggestions when they read it. 13 views from people that dont have a wing mounted. Those are the people you dont need advice from but they may be thinking about doing the same thing and wanted to see howe far the thread has gotten.

Simple, you either install the stock shock tower, or fabricate a plate to use the mount with the RPM tower.
I can't show you a pic because I refuse to use an rpm tower on a tmaxx:)

The rpm tower is just too flexible for my taste. Some like them, I do not.
I usually only use a 4 shock setup on a maxx and the towers will inevitably warp.
They also result in more dented exhaust headers than with a stock or aluminum tower.

Like Phons stated, dont be impatient with your threads, alot of people dont have this wing mount but are curious to see how it will bolt up or look after a jerry rig custom job.

Most RPM parts dont account for the fact of factory parts that bolt to the replaced part.

For example when I went with RPM arms on my Jato, it had no place to bolt up the sway bars.

So sit back with an ice cold beer, and draw something up to bolt her on.

now that you mentioned it my manifold does melt my shock tower where my shock screws in

stupid ? why would u want to put a wing on a tmaxx any way is this a shelf queen?

So i have rpm shock towers right now if those are not to good to run should I go aluminum then I like the look of the wing so whatever I can to make I work I have some scrap sheet metal that I will play with thanks guys for being patient with me

Having run a Tmaxx since the 1st release many years ago, I seldom will run one without a wing.
The wing offers a lot of protection for the engine head in a crash. Not only will it keep the head from being scratched up but it will reduce the possibility of broken blocks and engine mounts and movement of the mesh between the spur and clutch bell. It offers a lot of protection for the rear of the body as well. It makes a good wheelie bar and a great carrying handle. It also makes the truck more stable/controllable when jumping.

I didn’t mean to imply that the rpm towers were not to be used. For me I just don’t like all the flex and associated problems it can cause. I also don’t like less shock mounting positions and the overall look of the towers.
Since you already have the towers, just make an adaptor plate for the tekno mount and run it until you have an issue and then maybe try another type of tower.
With almost all aftermarket towers though you will need some kind of adaptor as the tekno mount was designed specifically for the stock tower.

Ok thank you I just needed some ideas it greatly appreciated and sorry for sounding like a newbie

Take a look at FLM shock towers, they have holes drilled in then to accept a variety of wing mounts. No fabricating, no muss no fuss!

Sorry if this sounds dumb but flm do they have a website I can't find it

I found it

I had the day off and was able to mount a 8ight T wing section to my girl:

My only fabbing was a couple of plates to kind of "squish" the shocktower and a little paint to hide them:

All in all it was pretty easy. My only issue is the wing sits a little low for my liking and looks a little goofy with a body mounted:
