What is a safe temp to be at? I'm running @ 230-250 on both my hyper 21 and my stock 21bb. Seems like the more I richen the HSN the temp does not get any lower. I bought the new head from Golden Horizons and put it on my 21bb thinking it would lower the temp a little. The guys at the store said it would, but so far I havent noticed any change. I can't seem to read anything on this head except for it is just for looks. What other cooling head is available for the Hyper 8 port since the button is part of the head?

230-250 is not that hot. that is the normal operating temp for both of those mills. i wouldnt worry about it, and just keep on going like you have been. if you arent bashing against someone, feel free to richen it up a bit, that should cool it down some more for ya. u dont want to run to cool, or u end up puddling the unburned fuel.

Man, I say lean that puppy out a little bit. I run about 290-310 and man the power is awesome. Even on the .21bb!!!! That GH is a great head for the price. Even if you experience a 10 degree difference. Remember, you dont want your mill to run cold. Just cooler if you want to extend the life. The temps you are getting now are great for longevity.
