I have come to the conclusion that i need to buy either a temp gun or an on-board monitor. Does anyone have any ideas or opinions about the pos and cons of the onboard temp monitor vs. the handheld infared guns??

i has the blue flashpoing hand held lil one, I'm not sure what happened but the half the screen went out, now i can't use it. i left it in my car i think the heat maybe got to it. id rather go with an onboard one next, i dont think they have their own power supply.

I have an Axial temp gun, but it was a pain in the rear. I went out and bought 20 of the Traxxas on board monitors, (there could be better ones, just telling you what I got) and fitted them to my high end rides. I dont care if they might be a couple of degrees out I say its the only way to do it.....
