Mine will typically run around 245-255 but I also have had it for quite awhile. I would read up on some of the stickys on here as I'm a big fan of tuning for performance and smoke rather than temp. While I wouldnt run vehicles at 300 plus I do have a Tmaxx that seems to run best around 270. My brother in law runs his almost identical maxx around 240. Its all in the tune and performance for each individual truck IMO.
