i have a 2.5 with about 1 q ran in it is 260 to 270 on 15% fuel a good temp the temp where i live is 67

The temp is a tad on the high side, if I were you I would go to % fuel and bring the temps around maybe even a little lower.

It sounds just a touch on the lean side with the temp at 67. Stay with the 15% and just richen the HSN a bit.

What is 20%, Alex?

I'm going to go against the crowd here and tell you that you have a cool running 2.5 and to leave it alone as long as you are getting the performance you desire.

I'm very tempted to have a body vacuum-formed entirely out of screen material.

(But then it wouldn't vacuum-form very well, would it?)

I'm in the Pacific NW and my engines (two so far in the same truck) always seem to run hot... I need to punch some more body holes.

If you're reading 260-270 immediately following a good workout and the engine is running while you're reading those temps... I think you're in good shape.

thank you for the help and yes the truck runs great
