I figured I'd start a dedicated thread for this conversion build. I will let the pictures tell the story. I am also open to any suggestions.

Here is what I started out with. A tmaxx 3.3

Then I tore it down to this and sold the spare parts

Here is what I ended up with. I still have to save up some money for the motor and ESC.

I used an E Revo tranny and the factory E Maxx motor mount with OFNA battery boxes.

For the transmission mounts and the ESC stand I used an old skid plate

I used an HPI Savage dog bone up front with E Revo cups. I also plan to add a dual servo set up

I know this has been done before but I've never saw it done exactly like this. I will keep you guys up to date if you are interested

Cool man we like builds around here, what motor and esc setup are you gunna go with?...what bottom braces are those?

Thanks, I am looking at the hobbywing 2200kv motor and 150amp ESC or maybe a mamba system if I can find a good enough deal on one. I plan to run 4s only. The braces are integy they were on the truck when I got it but they seem to be pretty nice.
