I purchased the ofna .26 for my new project and the lhs told me that they are the same picco mills just packed under different name. Do the sirio 27 if you can, I ordered one thru the lhs about 3 weeks ago.

It's a phuckload of allot easier to tune then a Traxxas Trx 2.5....lol and as far a I know it's identical to the proven Pico Outlaw.26 (except for cosmetic differences of course). THe OFNA Hyper port 8 is a great and very powerful motor IME but this runs circles eeeerr wheelies around it!!!!! From my limited experience it's the most powerful nitro motor in it's class that I've ever played with. Some good buddies and I are building a DUAL 1/5th monster with these beast motors!!!!! Just hope your truck and/or car can keep this power on the ground!!!

I've got a NIB for sale here on the uuuuhh auction block and I'll might have 2-4 more for sale in 1 week to a month!!!
 
So the Wasp .26 and the OFNA .26 and the Picco .26 are the same? Is that what you guys are saying?
 
That's what I'm hearing, go to one of the local shops that sell both and set them down side by side. I would have but not one of the locals that I patronize had both in at the same time. It looks like the one in my mute maxx only it has a silver head. The Picco 069 pipe is the proper pipe per a phone call that we made to Ofna. The specs are indentical.

The POWERFUL 2.7HP TEAM ORION WASP 26 is an incredible .26 BIG BLOCK nitro engine! The Team Orion Wasp 26 is made by Picco and is supposed to be the same as the Ofna Picco 26 Outlaw! If you look closely at pictures of the Picco 26 and the Wasp 26, you will see that they look identical except for the silver aluminum cooling head on the Wasp 26. We decided to start sourcing the Team Orion Wasp 26 because supplies of the Ofna Picco 26 Outlaw engine are so limited.

This high quality Picco engine offers the best of both worlds... with its BIG .26 cu. in. (4.3 cc) displacement that helps generate BIG POWER and TORQUE at lower-midrange engine RPMs while the Picco design also gives extremely powerful HP levels at higher RPMs.
This amazing .26 engine is made by Picco - a very well known, high quality, high powered engine manufacturer in Italy.

This engine has a composite carburetor body to reduce heat transfer to the carb and help increase power output. The composite carb design should also help enable solid tuning of the air/fuel mixture. The Wasp 26 also has a 14mm crankshaft, hard chromed cylinder sleeve (ABC construction), double bushing connecting rod, and a convenient pull start mechanism. The Team Orion Wasp 26 nitro engine comes with a high flowing 5 port + 2 by-pass port design.

The Wasp 26 has the same engine mounting hole spacing as the Hyper 21 8 Port engine. This means that the Wasp 26 Outlaw engine should be a direct bolt in for the SAVAGE truck - and many other .21 powered vehicles - just like the Hyper 21 8 Port engine! This should be a simple (and extremely POWERFUL) engine swap!

I got my WASP .26 for $170 at my LHS.. they told me that it was easier to tune then the Picco.. the Picco .26 was like $150.. and both of these engine came with a pull start.. so i dunno I never ran the .21bb stock engine so i really can't compare or had the Picco.. but a guy who had a Picco .26 was telling me he was going to switch out..
