I just picked up a new Team Orion Wasp .26 today and I am gonna take my time at breaking in this engine.
I have had bad luck with my old Picco .21 on my TMaxx with a broken connecting rod less than a dozen tanks so I am gonna baby my new Orion Wasp .26 during breaking in and a few tanks there after.
I know, I probably should have waited til the .28 was available but my stock .25 kicked the bucket and it's not like I can't still grab a .28 when my LHS gets it. They already tried to sell me an RB .28 but it was pretty pricey.
I can't wait to see how this thing rips with the suspension set up I did for the Savage.

One thing that I was wondering about is the pull start on the .26 is pretty short. When I mounted it in the Savage, it doesn't really give me much to grab on to to pull without possibly burning my knuckles on a recently hot engine head. Is there anything or any way to add or lengthen the pull start cord??

Nice motor. I'm probably going to go for the Ofna Outlaw 26 Picco when my 25 gives up. What happened to your S-25?

Nice engine, I just dropped a XTM 24.7 in my savage and it mauled the spur gear in less than 5 seconds literally. So I ordered up the Robinson Racing steel set up. Good luck with your .26!

On the short p/s issue, you can take the little green plastic straw thing off the s-25, and replace the stock clear straw thing from the wasp w/ the one from the s-25. You know, the little thing that keeps the ps from going into the housing too far - if that makes sense.
