theres a real good deal at modelsportuk a uk hobby store the raminator is only 269 pounds which is cheaper than my lhs sells the aftershock for..and they would both stand up 2 the abuse from bashing right?

You get a 2.4gHz radio with the Raminator, the AFT only has a 2 channel JR xr2i AM radio.

Well, with a few upgrades, they will take a decent amount of punishment. RPM arms, lunsford turnbuckles, CNC'd engine brace and LST2/XXL two speed if you upgrade the engine.

For the money, they are a well balanced rig. Personally, the big floaty tires cause more issues than they are worth. I'm debating on getting muggy wheels/tires for mine vs the LST2 stockers I just put on it. I was running standard MT tires. Mine started life as an aftershock. It's "matured" quite a bit over the past 2 years. ;)
