Hey, I'm looking into buying the Himoto Rapida Pro, which comes with the .18 Team Infinity engine. I would like to ask if this is a good engine or just a knock off. Because, I've been looking around about Team Infinity, but it doesn't seem like a real big brand such as Traxxas, HPI, and Team Associated. Any suggestions?

It is kinda a knock off brand. I have not seen any of them run so it would be hard to say if it is worth while or not. Just make sure you can get parts for your vehicle before you buy. If worse comes to worse and the engine does not last just replace it with an OS, LRP or something like that. Actually that looks just like my first nitro RC converted into an on-road. It was a Himoto as well....my neighbor is a cop, he clocked it at 44MPH. Not bad for the price. I live in Okinawa Japan and I have not seen Infinity here....maybe on mainland Japan. But if you can get parts give it a try. Drop a Traxxas 3.3 in it.....heh heh heh...good times.

I would say keep a close eye on the quality of the engine. I bought one of their Savage pipes a while back, and it was sub-par. There's a thread about it in the HPI Savage area of the forum, quite a ways back. You can search for it by using the terms "team infinity pipe".
