Hello everyone, thanks in advance for any replies.

My Traxxas T-Maxx 3.3 is stuck in TDC and I tried the way to release it but I'm pushing so hard with the screwdriver I feel I'm going to smash through the table and stab my leg. Haha Is there any other techniques for releasing it?

Remove your glow plug, try to use a flat blade screw driver to spin the flywheel while using the chassis as leverage for the screw driver. It works.

The heat method should definitely work though. Use heat and loosen or remove your glow plug.
 
Thanks so much Racer, got the piston moving freely! But it only moves to the top, it doesn't go down. Something seems to be not matching up and grabbing it to bring it down. Has anyone had this problem and know what piece I need to buy, or if it is even fixable? D:
 
I'm not sure I understand what you mean. You had the piston stuck at top dead center. You heated the block. You got it unstuck. Are you now saying that it pushes up but doesn't come back down? Does the crankshaft still turn even when the piston is stuck at the top? If so, you most likely broke the rod or the pin on the crankshaft. Your best bet is to probably take the engine apart to make sure there are no broken parts. Since you're new to the hobby you should take your time making sure to mark the orientation of the piston and conrod to make sure you put the engine together exactly as it came apart. Trust me, if you don't do that, you can make things worse.

Yes, the crankshaft will turn freely while the piston is at the top.
I will take it apart more, and take my time and hopefully not screw it up. Thanks :) Now, if a part is broken inside the engine, can I replace it?
 
If your piston is traveling upwards, but not down and your crank is spinning then your connecting rod is broken.
 
Yeah I would say something is broken in there. Probably the crankpin that the connecting rod connects to. You can get a new crankshaft and piston and sleeve but buy the time you spend the money repalcing those you could have bought a new engine. I reccomend just replacing the engine you can find them on ebay for around 110 dollars
 
You ripped the bottom out of your rod time for some parts.:hehe:
