hey hey
i printed the wife a tap to pay wand a few weeks ago, its cool how it works and can read the card thru the plastic, i looked around and couldnt find any card holders that struck my fancy,
i DID however find a ring,
its a pretty basic ring, looks sorta like a green lantern ring.

i got a few pics of the process, it was only 2 steps really lol.

step 1 download the file from thingiverse
step 2 print the ring in your size and color

step 3 sacrifice a credit or debit card by soaking it in acetone for 10-15 mins while watching it

step 4 peel off the skin of the card revealing the copper wire and chip

step 5 place the chip inside the bottom of the ring and apply a dab of something to keep it in place, i used super glue

step 6 CAREFULLY and i mean CAREFULLY start winding the wire around the provided lip on the ring,

step 7 apply a thin coating of clear nail polish to the wound wire keeping it secure
step 7 turn the ring upside down on your hand and pass it over the scanner and say cmon baby gimme free money........ APPROVED ,,, look at cashier and say i love free money and have a great day.

it works i tested it. I'm stoked.
small disclaimer as with all of the scanners its gonna be hit and miss and may take a few passes to work but it does work and I'm super stoked.

this was just a test, ill now order a new card reprint the ring and clean it up better, sacrifice a second card and redo the whole thing cleaner and neater than this ring

the finished product SHOULD work better, but heres a short of it actually being succesful,
i need to do a little better job on the winding of the wires to help make a better signal.
but here ya go it does work
