Tactic TTX 240 impression

at the LHS looking for a cheap Radio for my sons rigs so I picked up a Tactic TTX 240 which from what I read is a rebadged Tower 2.4 ghz 2 ch steering rate, servo reverse, and what not no bells and whistles. no LCD $79.99 at Tower and amain. I installed it and the rx is tiny with an internal antennae. Easy to bind and I was good to go. I put it in his Rustler CC 5700/esc and a 9.6 V Nimh I had charged up. The thing worked great no glitches at all and it only takes 4 batteries too. I drove it out as far as I could see it till it was just a spec with no loss of signal at all. Boy that is way too much motor for that rig but anything worth doing is worth overdoing. anyway so far $79.99 well spent he was using a TRX am crap before.

I never heard of that brand, but it sounds like a great review at $80.

yeah I use the Spektrum equipment in most my other rigs so I wanted something 2.4 ghz for a 9 yr old and $80 was perfect.
