I have had this same problem a few times. My advice is tune untill it is at its best then see if it shifts. Check that your slipper is tight enough. I did it all wrong the first time i got this problem and started adjusting the shift point. This didnt work at all,all that it did was make it really hard to find the shift point again once i got it tuned properly. Mine was stuck in second really slow off the line but good top speed. Have you made any changes since the last time you ran it? If so then that maybe a good place to start looking depending what you changed.

You might want to try returning your needles to the stock break in settings and fine tune from there. That's the advice that was given to me, and I still use it a lot when my tune gets way off. I've had a problem with my truck not shifting into second, and it was because it was running too rich so the engine coudln't get it's speed up to the shift point. Once I got the tune right it performed flawless. I would try this before I messed up the shift point, but I'm still kinda new so see what some others have to say as well.

Oh yea, there's an excellent flowchart on here to help you tune that usually acts like a magic wand for us new members. I'll try and locate it real quick and post a link. It's defintely worth printing and keeping in the toolbox. I loaned my printer out, so I had to take my laptop out bashing with me this past weekend lol.

OK I found it. There's also a good image of a carb and tuning needles on this thread.
