Hi all came here looking for your help
I have a T Maxx 2.5 all alloy with a sirio TX18 engine I run it on 20% nitro fuel but I put 10% nitro fuel in it by mistake it started then just stoped I removed all fuel and put 20% back in straight away but it won't start it's making a funny grinding noise it uses ezz starter it sounds ok when the plug is out but when you put that back in and try it just won't start and sounds bad
Help me please
Thanks bust-it

uh oh

Try to locate were the grinding is comming from. Chances are its the ez start.
If not you may have broke the rod inside of the motor. If you want to check it out take the motor out, take off the cooling head, then the top of the head comes off (glow plug in it) be carefull when doing this it should just come stright out with some gently prying also theres gaskets underneth it be carefull not to damage them. Once you have it apart and can see the top of the piston turn in upside down and rotate the flywheel. If the jug comes out you have your answer.. A really helpfull guide to this process is on U tube by squirelroid (I think thats how its spelled) just trype in nitro engine rebuild and look for that name.. hope this helps

after taking the engine appart i think the con rod has expanded a little causing the piston to knock
