i'm looking to make my t-maxx waterproof as i'll be running it in the snow a lot this winter, i'll build a track in my backyard just for fun and i don't want to break my electronics. any tips on how to waterproof them ?

Yes...you can fill the servos full of automotive grease, it will slow them down just a little though. Or you can put them in balloons..I believe there is a short you tube video on the balloon procedure as well as the grease.

cornholio you are correct about the grease but you need to use dielectric grease. Its not conductive and is made specifically for electronic connections.

Can you leave the balloon on all the time? And another question, do they sell waterproofs servos

Thanks ! Ill do the balloon thing, and if something breaks down ill get waterproof servos

The traxxas 2075 servo is super waterproof and extremely reliable. I use them a lot. Never had a wink of trouble out of them and the price is right.

A lot of people swear by Plasti-Dip, but I haven't tried it. Thinking about it though! Lots of YouTube vids on it.
