I have had a savage and a tmaxx. My savage would never break but it seems like everytime i run my t maxx it breaks. Most of the time its the rear turnbuckles. Could someone tell what parts to upgrade with what and what turnbuckles to use. Like i said I had a savage and it got stolen from the rc shop so they bought me a new tmaxx and i know nothing about them. Help!! Thanks!!

Well what version of Maxx do you have? If you have the 2.5 maxx the 3.3 FRONT turnbuckles will fit the REAR of a 2.5. The 3.3s are a bit stronger/thicker. If not, then as NCNitro said above go with the Lunsford. If you have the 3.3 you can always go RPM Tru-Track in the rear and get rid of the turnbuckles all together!

i have the new 3.3 with the 2.4ghz, i agree about the ripoff because i got a sts .30 engine a week before it got stolen. i was definately mad

i am also looking to lower it. i would like some advice on lowering the suspension, but id like it to inexpensive and not have really stiff shocks due to the fact that i race it and i dont want to just bounce around on the track

I have lowered my TMaxx with adjustable shock towers. Not sure it will make the suspension stiffer but it did reduce the travel.
