T-Maxx Tranny Question

Hey Folks-

Quick question that I hope can get a quick response so I can finish this little project.

I cleaned and rebuilt the tranny on my brother's T-Maxx and followed the diagram in the manual and all that good stuff. Everything went back together fine, but before I put it back in the truck, I'm wondering if the spur gear should spin when I spin the out drives and vice-versa? I noticed there are two slipper clutches (not including the 2-speed clutch) within the transmission itself, so I'm thinking they wouldn't spin simply by spinning the spur or out drives by hand, but I want to make sure before I put it back in there and have to tear it apart again.

I'm hoping to get this resolved pretty soon so I can at least try it out.

If you still have reverse, the spur will not spin when you spin the outdrives or vise-versa... Those are the forward-reverse clutches, and the bellhousing... If you have ever noticed a "Clicking" on the start off, that is why... The FOC makes the tranny much more simple and makes the take-offs a lot smoother as well...

Yea, lose the reverse and save yourself alot of headaches.
