e-bay,could probably pull the build off cheaper,but I dont know that much about elec.
 
there have been quite a few conversions documented on here, but none of them went for the stock e-maxx hardware. it shouldnt be that bad though, new chassis, trans, center shafts, and then your choice of electronics.

they are pretty proud of there evx though, so it may be cheeper to buy one, or find a roller and go brushless.
 
I bought an Emaxx, tore it down to parts, replaced said parts with aftermarket parts and then put it all back together with a new Novak BL HV setup. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
