The Hitec makes some good servo's. If you upgrade the steering setup I would go with the newer style tmaxx steering setup. Proline makes a good upgrade to. That is I am assuming that you still have the stock #4910 tmaxx steering setup.

if your running the 4910 upgrade to the newer style linkage males a huge diff I just did the upgrade on mine and ill never look bavk. ussing a ppp servo with the old style it still wouldn move the tires all the way on the ground now has no problem much better setup

What this newer style steering setup do you guys have a link my tmaxx is a 2.5 model with a 3.3 swap
I would really appreciate it if u add a link so I know what to buy
And also the servo saver too on what to get
Thank you

+1 on the Savox sc0251mg servo. Best servo for the money. A whopping 222oz inches of torque at 6v.

Oh ok I will do that upgrade and for that servo u recommend does it work with my stock radio.? What servo saver do I need to by for that

The servo saver is built into the steering bellcrank, no need for an aditional saver (you delete the old style saver).
The servo will work with any radio system, but its best to have a radio that you can set the endpoints.
All you need is to raise the reverse servo with a couple shims/washers for clearance. Better to remove reverse all together, real Truggys dont have reverse:p:

Can i just remove the reverse servo or do i need it?
Whats the process to do forward only

Thats a cheap too i can do that
Does it eliminate the servo or u still need the servo

You pull the shift servo, once the FWD/RVS gears are pulled there's no need for the servo.

good deal and btw if you ever take something apart and your not sure how the peices go back together go to traxxas web site and go to support click thr nitro tab and pick your truck then look at parts explodes it helps alit when u havent ever done sometjing b4 either servo is good but personally I would go with savox.

It fits fine
They just mean the case of the servo is taller
I had 2 of the hitec servos in my maxx grenade before going with the savox and have not had a prob in nearly 2 years
