Well, I was driving it today and it was running perfect! Then we let it cool down and went to start it play with it again and it would'nt fire up. It just kept making the "trying to start" noise. I took off the EZ start and checked that bearing everyone says to "clean", and I soaked it in gas and oiled it back up and re-installed everything. Tried starting it after I did all that and it still would'nt fire up, and the starter started to smoke.

Please help me fellas!

Well, just purchased a pull start, so well see what happens when I install that.

Yea, I'm interested, too, having the same problem hehe. I'm not entirely sure the thing is getting fuel. The ez-start says the plug is good, but it may not be getting quite hot enough, although I've tried two different ones, both of which register as good.

My ez start didn't heat my plug hot enough so I use a seperate glow heater, But, I'm curious when you say cool it down then it won't start back up. I've had chainsaws do that when they wear out, what it is on the chainsaws is kinda like a vapor lock where the bottom end seals start leaking, when it cools down over a long period of time, completely cooled down, then it will run again till I shut it off then it'll repeat the same process. So, sorry for rambling, check your compression after you run it, if its alot lower, then you could need a rebuild or reseal the motor.

How many gallons of gas have you ran through it? Does it have good compression? Have you tried running a cold glow plug?
