I am considering making a roll cage for my t maxx 2.5. I have looked at allot of the cages out there and I do not like the looks of any of them. I really only want the cage to cover the rear of the truck over the engine sort of a roll bar instead of a cage. Any suggestions to materials or how to mount the darn thing. I have two months off work to recover from foot surgery so I am bored out of my mind and need something to do.

I looked at that one the other day. I am looking for something more scale looking. It might be a good starting point though. Thanks for the info.

I'm thinking of doing to same thing, can people post pics of there roll cages and the mounts etc, can't get these in the uk so i would like to make one, have a mig so should be a fun project

i bought a roll cage for my jato, it put so much weight so high it handeled like a pig. i bought a roll bar for the t-maxx, that is just one piece of 3/8 dia aul , that would not add to much weight. dont have it on yet. can't remember the brand. sorry
