Alright, I've searched high and low for a good part number...
I have a long wheel base T-Maxx and can't seem to get the right rear driveline!! It about 4 1/4 inches long, approx. 113mm...
I want a "beefy" one, my Picco .26 is a brute...

Anyone?

We found the stock 4908 shafts to hold up the best to the .26. And when I say best, I mean half a gallon or so.:) This was on pavement. There's a fellow that makes beefy custom drive shafts. A couple of respected members have used them with good luck. There's also a thread on here that explains how to convert a Savage driveshaft to fit the Maxx. Use the search feature to try and find it. It was a real simple convert, but I don't recall the details. I'm sure some others will chime in here too.

Thanks for the info.....:D

T-Maxx Driveline solution??

Alright, I have ordered the HPI86151 HD Dogbones and the TRA5153R Revo extended cups....
I will post the results and some pics with the results, from the calls I've made and all the research I've done, this is the "solution"...
We'll ALL know by next week!!:p:

The stock 4908 shafts are garbage, i broke 1 with my 3.3 after while (rear center) and i replaced it when i put my picco .26 red dot in, and in less than 3 tanks that one snapped also.

We get half a gallon or better with a .26. On the street mostly, driving abusive. Not sure what your doing wrong, but I bet it starts with the slipper. ;)

I'm not doing anything wrong, truck was DIALED before the .26 (other than 1 broken shaft) and then the .26 destroyed them.

The time is come...

This week-end the RCPF's T-MAXX will receive the drive train upgrades we've been waiting for...

A)HPI86151 HEAVY DUTY DOG BONE
B)TRA5153R DRIVE CUPS
C)TRA5351X TORQUE CONTROL TMAXX UPGRADE

We're thinking this set up will harness the Ofna Picco .26 and effectively put the power the ground....

Can't wait to hit the RCPF's shop and see the end results :p:
