Hey Everyone, Well I'm starting to get my interest back into the maxx and I was wondering how are the Sirio .18 vs. the Fantom .18, Either way imma be having a Sirio tuned pipe "That blue one". Later guys

The price is pretty much the same but.. I'm wondering bout the reliablity , power , and tuning ease.

I will side with the Fantom engines as that is what I run in my T-Maxx, but I will tell you that both are great engines. The Sirio has more part support as they are made by a larger company. Fantom is basically a couple of guys in a garage. They still produce some winning engines.

Rock solid. I only have to tweak it the day of the run for the current weather and have yet to require any change during a bash.

Awsome I Will look into it then. That is the new Fantom .18 .03 series for maxx right? not the .15's

That is all Fantoms. I run a .15FR. I was about to upgrade the engine in my T-Maxx and decided to just sell it. Will be selling it as a stock roller and parting out the upgrades. More to come once I get it all cleaned up.

I checked at the LHS last night and they have the Fantom in stock for 190!!!!!! thats alot damn, Anyone know a special going around.. I'm still thinking about either going with 30%NitroBoys's Sirio or buying a New Fantom.. hmmm hard choices. Thanks for your help Sky. Later

I have a Siro .18 and i have had nothing but goodluck with it.Just like Sky 1 tweak at the start of the day for weather.
