T-Maxx Problems ; ;

I've had my T-Maxx Classic for about a month now. I did the engine break in process just like the manual said. I've ran 2 quarts of Traxxas Top Fuel 20% Nitro. And now i'm half way thru my first gallon of Sidewinder 20% Nitro Fuel. I'm having a few problems. 1) Ever since I've had the truck, it's always had some issues with going in reverse. I come to a complete stop put it in reverse and it still goes forward, and then finally about 1-2 minutes later it will finally go in reverse. I recently just had to replace the reverse gear due to stipped teeth, and it's still doing the same thing. Anytime i've called Traxxas and asked them they just say to make sure i'm completely stopped before I try to reverse, which I do come to a complete stop. 2) Just recently i've run into the problem of I can start my truck play with it for a little bit and then at any random time I can let off the throttle and brake, truck will completely stop, but then when I let off the brake it jerks forward and keeps going. 3) Also just recently, recently as in today, I can't go full throttle otherwise the engine will die. If anyone can offer some assitance or advice i'd greatly appreciate it. And I do apologize if my problems seem rather stupid, i'm just kinda new to the nitro R/C world.

It's all related to tuning it after break in. Both your needles need to be leaned out. Lean the LSN and balance it with the idle screw till you get a good idle with no creep. That will also give you off the line punch. Adjust the HSN for WOT. Don't adjust anything till it's fully warmed up, and only do one needle at a time, just a little bit at a time.
When it's tuned and idling properly, you won't have a problem with reverse.

It sounds to me like you need to adjust the tension of the reverse arm springs so they apply more pressure to the shift rod to get a more positive shift and eliminate the slack..I've had my T Maxx classic .15 Pro since April 02 and the trans has never given me a problem to this day.With the classic trans design you can shift from forward to reverse without completely stopping aslong as the idle revs are down to a safe rpm setting.........

i let my truck roll when going in to rev i stop the truck switch to rev and let it roll just a little and then give it gas I'm always in rev after that

and try to use the same fuel these engines dont't like alot of diffrent fuels i would try use traxxas fuel and see if that helps
