T-Maxx paddle tires????

Hey all out there in rc world,
Anyone ever tried the paddle tires by proline for the tmaxx? I'm going to Pismo Dunes for spring break and taking the maxx. Not sure if I should buy paddles or not. Any help would be great. :shrug:

I've never used them on my Maxx but I'm sure they will work awesome at the dunes If your planning on running it every once in a while in deep sand I would defiently get them.

I have a full set of paddles i bought just to go to pismo beach (Oceana Dunes) with my maxx. I am trying to go during spring break as well... I dont know if it will work out, but i know the paddles would help grip. I saw someone there last year with some rc monster trucks of some sort without paddles, and they looked like the paddles would help out a lot. I think that it would be too bumpy to drive it any other place than the beach, because so many people drive dirtbikes and quads and trucks out there... (and quads pulling wheelbarrows without wheels, like sleds... that was so fun!)

i had a full set when i lived in california whenever i went to glamis and they rocked but what i was most enthused about was the rooooster!!But yah they work well and grip well too.

Proline Paddles are kick ass on sand and snow they rock you will love the roostes.
If you guys are going to the Dunes I would suggest you guys go order

issue it has a cool dune maxx with a bunch of tips on running in the dunes.
things like When running in the dunes you are supposed to run all gears dry.no lube.

if you have plastic this happened to me it got caught in the middle of the spur and cb and dug a groove in the middle of the spur but now i have metal spur.thats all i got!

thanks guys, I will try. We will be on the beach primarly. I think I will pick some paddles and ribs up for my 2 mini-t's as well. My 5 yr old rocks on the those.

the 74 was still the small bronco...up until 78...that's the first big one they made...I had a 79 w/ a 400...YES I SAID A 400cid......it got ripped out and a 460 was dropped in until I reallized I was just being retarded trying to use it for snowboarding in the winter from NYC...had to fill it up w/ people to afford the gas.....LOL.....nice truck RC.....is it yours?...you should put paddle tires on that and go play in the sand

No its not mine.. it was my buddy's truck, up until he sold it a year or so ago. He now has a bornco II lifted 4" with 31x10.5s. It gets really good gas milage, and we have thought about paddles on that, but the little 2.9L engine couldnt power those... i dont think that engine is even powerfull enough to break a driveshaft or axle...

a 2.9 and a 4" lift & 31" tires .....I hope he realizes how bad that is for that truck......that thing is not meant for any serious offroading unles you do some major mods to it.......

So far, we havent done anything crazy in it. He knows that it isnt going to be a super rock crawler or anything. He is going to buy a ford 9 inch rear end and something stronger up front... he wants a 3 inch body lift now.

Those tires are great in the sand. And like everybody has said: it's really cool to blip the throttle and see roost from every corner.

I put mine on ProLine's offset rims. It adds about an inch to the overall width of the vehicle.
