I just got this radio, and I have a question about hooking up the linkage to the servos. What the servo horn did you use for the steering servo and how did you connect it. Again which horn did you use for the throttle servo, and did you have any troubles connecting the linkage. I know that this is a simple question, but my maxx has been down for a long time, and I don't want to screw it up. thanks.

yeah, I currently have both that came with the kit installed.

Well I didn't change my servos man I still have the JR in the box. I really would suggest you go up to a bigger servo horn that whats in the box I dont like them little flimsy basterds.. I am looking for a top down pic now...X

I could go back to the original servos, but I like the metal gear servo that came with the kit.

I was running the stock servos, and those would be no prob to put back in. The linkage is too thick for the JR horns to be connected like the originals are, so I was wondering how I could connect them.

Man thats what I Was saying just get a heavier duty servo horn for the JR.. Those servos will be lots better than the stockers. BUt that little puny horn is for planes and stuff X

thanks X I'll look into that, and in the meantime, I'll probably put the stock servos back into the truck so I can get up and running.

By the way The Jr is a 23 spline servo horn so anything for a KO-propo or Airtronics will work on it...X
