:sorry: ok,here's the deal,I've sold my old MAXX and now I find myself wondering, new MAXX or SAVAGE? I never was really impressed with the pro.15 easystart MAXX,with the short arms it was almost certain to roll in a tight turn.sure wasn't a fan of that starting system, and it seemed if I wanted to upgrade one thing i had to upgrade this and that too or that mod would break them? So has traxxas made that much of an improvement? generation 2 MAXX owners let me hear some reviews. I'm a basher, i want to know which one will take the most abuse and is more reliable, which is faster and userfreindly

The 2.5 rocks out of the box. The savage rocks out of the box. Buy the one you like the features the best. It's your money not mine. However if you want to throw some my way I could use a fully equiped Kyosho Kanai 1.

The savage can take more abuse right out of the box. I have a T and love it, but that Savage SS kit looks killer

at my distant hobbyshop the new MAXX goes for 419.00$ and the SAVAGE is 429.00$ so money isnt a big deal?

Realiable and stronger is definately the Savage out of the box.

The TMaxx is faster bar none on top. BUT, the Savage can hold its own.

I like them both. But out of the box, Savage.

Looking very seriously at the SS Savage, wish somebody had one to give some info on, I might have to be the first and fill yall in!!!

well i dont have the ss but I'm pleased with the savage and it is soposed to be better but doesn't come with a radio
