I am brand new to this site, and love it.
Okay so I pulled out my old T-maxx I bought back in 2003. Not real sure which one it is. I think it's a 2.5 from what I picked up on the site. The engine is a .15.
Anyways, I started the engine, and it started right up again. Did all the procedures to get the engine running great again. The problem I'm having is the T-Maxx will not go. All it does is just sit there while I press the gas.
I have taken the transmission apart, and everything looked okay (no stripped gears). Took apart the clutch bell, and looked good also. I have also checked all my servos, and have made all the adjustments.
I have done some trial and error that I have learn from this site.
1.Can I rotate the spur gear and clutch bell freely? yes
2.I checked the diffs. Lifted one end of the truck off the ground, spun one wheel. The wheel turned the opposite direction. Then held one wheel and spun the other, and the drive shaft rotates into the transmission. Did the other end of the truck also.
3. Tightened the slipper clutch, then backed off a 1/4
I think this might be the problem:
I rolled the truck on the ground forward and backwards to see if the spur gear would move. The spur gear doesn't move. I checked the transmission inside, and didn't see any problems. Shouldn't the spur gear move when I roll the truck on the ground? If so, what should I try next?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
