Hi, i have a prob with a t maxx that i bought of ebay, at first it would'nt start, but changed the glow plug and now i got it started but now i have a new prob, i can't get it to move, when i pull on the throttle in either forward or reverse it just revs, any ideas anyone? as you can guess i am completly new to this and dont really know what could be wrong, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

id say that youve got something stripped out in the tranny. just a guess but if its not moving and only reving its got something to do with the tranny. also make sure your clutch bell gears of the motor are lined up with the spur gear that is connected to the tranny and intacted. also if it has reverse make sure its not stuck in between reverse and forward gear.

If you have the reverse feature which is located next to the streeing servo make sure thats all the way in or all the way out.

This happened to mine before too. Make sure you let it warm up by idling for atleast 1 full minute or more. Than slowly try to accelerate. If it keeps revving only than try adjusting the idle-screw and make sure the gears arent slipping or anything. I dont really know besides that...

Yeap, I would pull on the linkage that is connected to the tranny, it goes to the smallest servo on the truck. Either push it in or pull it out, and see if that helps. Sometimes with the T-Maxx the reverse, forward mechanism gets hung up in the middle and keeps it from engaging, especially if the truck is idling too fast or something like that.

try loosing the brakes i had tht prob an i loosen my brake an it took off
