I recently bought a t maxx 3.3 and everything was going smoothly during the break in process until the fifth tank. The slipper clutch pads burn off. I changed them and the clutch bell started chewing the teeth off of my spur gears. I replaced two and finally I got the gear mess set right and fixed that problem but now I have another problem. When I take off in first gear it runs good but when it tries to kick into second gear it won't and it boggs out and slows down completely. Does anybody know anything that I can try to fix this. Thanks.

I have found that not shifting is usually due to running to rich. It can't get to the RPM range to hit the shiftpoint. The fact that your only on tank#5 and have this issue I would look at leaning it out a little and trying again (your HSN)

Bogging at the shift point almost always indicates a lean HSN. Since your past the 5 tank break-in I assume you have already tuned for performance and went a little too far with the HSN.

correct info from both guys. Don't make any adjustments till it's warmed up and then drive it around a little to test it before adjusting it any more.
You'll soon hit the magic spot.
