Hi, this is my first post, and I'm Portuguese, so, sorry about my English.

I've bought my first truck, a Traxxas T-maxx, and I want to lift it from the ground for a better off road performance, is there any kit to lift it ?

Thanks...

you know not whatyou ask for.....lifting it would just make it unstable...just stick w/ the holes the stock set up gives you....put the shock in the closest hole to the chassis on the lower arm and the furthest out on the shock tower.....that's all the clearance you should need unless you are trying to drive it over your house...if that's the case find another hobby before this one kills you...

lol, ok...I'll do that, not change my hobbie, only fix the shock in the closest hole...

Thanks for the opinion...

Also, you can increase ride height by adding a couple of the wide shock spacers to each shock.

just be careful to not make em too stiff.....any little rock will flip your maxx...but try it just for $h!ts and giggles.....experimenting w/ your set up is half the fun and lets you learn more about your toys

I know that, I'm used to race with a team associated nitro TC3, but this is my first non touring car, and I have many questions about upgrades in them....

I wouldn't lift it that much (stock far inside holes) it binds on low end torque. Try 1/8th scale truggy shocks or power stroke suspension.

Or, If you can fabricate it... Losi Shocks.

Good point. Full compression or extension of the shocks on some setups can cause a bind between the stock outer U-joint and the a-arms.

After you get the shocks on check for binding in full extension and compression.

You could also get taller tires but would loose low end torque and would have to change your gearing. This would help with clearance but will make it roll over a lot easier.
