T maxx Hubs

I rounded out a hub, and the inside of a rim . Needless to say i need to replace both.
I was wondering what Hub I should go with ? The stock part# is 4954 these are 2.5 x 12mm, but when i got to looking at new ones i see the mm are different some are 14, some are 10 ..
What should I use , and if i switch to a diff mm hub size does this mean that i have to buy rims that are only fitted for them ? Whats the best ?

The stock T-maxx wheel hexes are 14mm.

I'm looking at my t maxx 3.3 parts book right now says part # 4954 and 2.5x 12mm

That measurement is for the wheel hex pin, not the hubs. When shopping online or at your LHS ask for a standard maxx size wheel and it will have a 14mm hub. Better yet, PM Jessie at RushRC and he will hook you up.

Sweetdisel is right, it's definitely a 14mm hex.

Make sure to spend the extra coin on aluminum hubs. They don't cost a whole lot, but they help in preventing hub rip out.

for a quickie fix I'd epoxy the hub into the wheel...I've done that before and it works pretty well...you already need to get both of those parts anyway so messing them up isn't a big deal....
