what i mean is that if the toe on the front is out and there is resistance in the front diff. the the rear end is pushing on it, binding everything, resulting in bent pins.

just a theory, i'm not looking at it myself. All I know is: mine did it with a new motor, and it resulted in bent pins, and a broken ring gear. the tires were toed out and the diff was bad.
