Hi, Does anyone know where I can find the correct center driveshafts for my extended chassis (1.5")T-maxx? I've checked tower and other stores, nobody seems to list them. Thanks

What brand chassis is it? I had custom shafts made when I did my cybermaxx conversion.

Try calling New Era RC www.neweramodels.com they don't have the center shaft itself listed on their site but I would imagine you could call them up and ask if you could purchase just a shaft. Shoot them an email, I've asked them off the wall type of questions before and they were pretty good about getting back to me. They sell extended chassis', I can't imagine they don't have extended rear shafts. If that doesn't work, you can order a custom shaft from www.rcalloys.com That's where I got mine.. they are super super beefy..

Thanks, I'm not sure what brand of chassis I have. I've attached a picture. The drive shaft in the truck is fine I just want a spare. Do these things fail on a regular basis or are they pretty durable?

A steel drive shaft is pretty damn strong.. I doubt you'll have an issue with it.. I ran (2) Picco .26's with my RCAlloys shafts, granted they are bigger than your but still... that wss like 5HP.

The rcalloy shafts are extremely tough. I have them in my cybermaxx. Super thick SS dogbones.

I also run custom shafts from RCAlloys on my Cyber . I dont think you could find a better drive shaft. I've also used XTM shafts and the Dynamite shafts and both are still working really well .

I'm guessing the pro .15 center shafts were shorter maybe. I know the front/rear shafts are shorter on the older maxx. I think pretty much everything that fits a 3.3 will fit a 2.5... pretty much
