I'm currently looking into upgrading the stock exhaust on my T-Maxx. I want to really do so for the reason of being tired of having excess fuel/oil spray all over the truck, as well as some performance gain. Being said, I want somethimg that is going to have the tail pipe face down, under the chasis, in the provided slot of the stock chasis, or one that comes out the rear of the truck. I have a deflector on the stock pipe, but now it goes all over the rear tire. I've had my eye on the CVEC Z800, http://www.cvecpowersystems.com/cv_products.html. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Holy shizzle dude! If those pipes were just a bit longer I'd get em for my 1:1 civic LOL. Seriously though, that's a lot of weight for a pipe. All that modn' you'd think he'd just make a custom header too eh? Well, I don't know how these work but this looks a helluva lot cleaner... www.2coolrc.com/exhaust.html

those exhausts arnt that long. the c-vec is a good choice of a exhaust. even if u get a exhaust that points out throught the bottom of the chassis, its still gona get on the rear a-arm, and the bottom of the chassis. so if u dont want any mess go with the rear exhaust one that goes straight out the back. Here

good luck,

cvecs are good powerfull exhausts, just they arnt race legal. So if you plan to race, this wouldnt be your bet.

Also the RD Logics pipes for the Maxx are AWSOME!

I've heard good things about the C- Vec pipes but i personally run a Dynamite one piece exhaust and love it

From what I've read here, rear exhaust is going to diminish the power your engine can produce. Is it possible to turn your existing pipe 90 degrees so that the stinger points more downward? If so, maybe a stinger tip would take care of the problem.

the only brands i would ever consider are dynamite or MIP. Just get a MIP 360* Exhuast Package with pipe. Affordable, and gives ur engine a hell of a lot more performance boost.
