hey i just bought a new piston for my t-maxx i found this HUGE peice of metal was sticking out of my glo plug about half way through the last tank of full and now the engines locked up what do i do?

i bought a new piston because this idiot at the hobby shop said i didnt have any compression

Either way, it's time to tear down your engine. If it IS the con rod, you'll more than likely have to replace the sleeve, and very possibly the head, from the way you describe it.
In the future, don't seek advise from the guy who sells parts, but come to this forum and ask those who actually USE them.
Take your engine apart and let us know what the damage is, and we'll let you know what you'll need to do.

my piston is pretty much trash now its all chiped up and i still can't turn the fly wheel and i just rebuilt the engine so ......... should i just buy a new engine? or take 3 hours to rebuild the engine?

You can't turn the flywheel because the broken con rod is jammed. Take the whole thing apart and we'll let you know if you can salvage it with a rebuild.
Whether you rebuild or go new, you'll have to go through the entire break in process.

thanks for the tip the rod was broken great there goes 75$
