Are carbs on most nitro engines interchangeable. I was wondering if their are other carbs that would fit on the 2.5 in the T-maxx. I stripped the hole my high speed needle threads into. I flipped the truck without the body on and the needle took a beating. The side on the plastic were the threads are is really dammaged. Do I need another 2.5 carb or will something else work If I can find it cheaper?

Thanks olds97_lss, I didn't realize I could just buy the carb body. That makes it a whole lot cheaper than buying the complete carb. I'll be sure to pick one up. I guess this shows were a roll cage would have come in handy. Do you guys use roll cages?

I call my roll bar sally. I love her!

Seriously though, it's a $40 steal.

Additionally, this roll bar fits the max 2.5 and the XTM .21 chassis (that's what I have). Some roll cages connect from bulkhead to bulkhead (newera has these models as well), but if the distance between the bulks changes, ie. .21 conversion, the cagey no goody.
