so, I finally finished my T-maxx .15 restore/upgrade to 3.3 and I finished break-in. I tried tuning it but it's doing things I dont understand. for example when it's idling it starts out slow and gradually works up to higher speeds and starts to run away. when I brake it doesn't die and when I throttle up wot it dies or lugs then takes off. its not my servo cause when I push on the slide with the brake on the idle doesn't change when I change the lsn it stays the same until it bogs and dies. also I can open my idle needle all the way and it wont change. my hsn is 3 turns out but it runs at 210. is there something i've over looked? could it be an airleak? any ideas? any help would be awesome.

If it's sluggish or bogs on take off then you lsn is too rich. Lean it about 1/8 of a turn. Sealing the engine couldnt hurt I'd start there but it does sound like from what you describe that the lsn is too rich.

Thanks for ideas. I did find a leak in the seal of the fuel line from the gas tank. I still have the .15 gas tank. Is it time to upgrade, or should I just throw some ca on there and be done with it? Also I'm still going seal the engine.

I just replaced the fuel lines not a month ago. The fuel tank just has that flimsy plastic nipple would it make sense to remove it and replace it with a metal one?
